Here for the caregivers 💚
Hi friends,
Happy April from Heba! 🌷 We're welcoming the new month with exciting discussions on health and care, powerful guest perspectives on disability and inclusion, and an insight into life at Heba from our recent intern.
🙌 Heba to Take the Stage at London Business School Healthcare Conference
It was a pleasure to share our work this month at the London Business School’s Healthcare Conference 2025. Alongside other innovators from the UK and abroad, such as Newton’s Tree and Oxford Science Enterprises, we discussed the role of technology in supporting carers, and how we may be able to expand access.

💛 Happy World Autism Acceptance Month!
April 2 was World Autism Acceptance Day. Throughout the month, we honour the voices, experiences, and strengths of the autistic community. You can read more about what this means from the UK’s National Autistic Society. Together, we can help build a world where neurodivergent individuals are celebrated, supported, and empowered to thrive. #WAAM25

📖 Palatable Or Real: Do Disabled Writers Conform to An Able World View?
We’re thrilled to welcome back Emily Morley-Davies, a guest author to our blog, to share her views on disabled representation in literature and how it impacts disabled life, as a member of the disabled community. Listen to Emily’s two part perspective on our blog.
💡 Intern Spotlight
This month, we're saying goodbye to our intern, Charlotte! A pre-med student from Boston University, Charlotte has spent the past two months with us all the way from the U.S., supporting our team with day-to-day tasks, blog posts, and social media. Read more about her experience of working at Heba here.
There’s plenty more where these came from on our Discover page. And if you’ve like to share your story, drop us a line at [email protected].
See you soon!
