Who cares?

Here for the caregivers đź’š

Hi friends,

Happy New Year from Team Heba! We're excited to kick off 2025 by sharing caregiving stories, including the results of our latest study, guest insights on disability representation, and updates from the care community.

Our study results: how Heba is supporting families

We’re delighted to share the results of an independent evaluation of the Heba app in supporting families of children recently diagnosed as autistic. With the support of Innovate UK, Prova Health and Differing Minds, our 3-month study revealed significant improvements for families using Heba. Families reported increased confidence in care coordination, improved access to resources, and a reduction in stress levels.

Thank you to Innovate UK and others for their support in allowing us to build and demonstrate the impact that support of this kind for families can have. Check out the full study findings.

Heroes are silent? Rethinking disability representation

We’re delighted to welcome Emily Morley-Davies, a guest author to our blog, to share her views on perceptions of disabled representation and how it impacts disabled life, as a member of the disabled community. Dive into Emily’s perspective on our blog.

Heba hits the airwaves: catch us on these podcasts

We had the pleasure this month of appearing on a few different podcasts, with some of our favourite speakers - check out “The Skies We’re Under” and “Your Home, Their Workplace” to hear more about the work being done in the care sector (and catch our founder Sam sharing some of what Heba has been up to!).

There’s plenty more where these came from on our Discover page. And if you’ve like to share your story, drop us a line at [email protected].

See you next month!
Team Heba
